Highly Effective Discipleship, Part 1B: Remembering God’s Heart

God’s desire is to do people good all the days of their lives. In this second part of a series on discipleship, Daniel teaches how the heart of God, as He revealed Himself to Moses in the book of Exodus, is first to deliver us out of whatever bondage or affliction we find ourselves in and then to take us to the promised land. As we come to the Lord–not on the basis of what we can do, but on what He can do–His love that says, “There is a future for you,” renders powerless the sin and desperate circumstances in our lives.
